This Remington manufactured green, red and off-white cardboard box with the dog bone design contains 42 of the original 50 rounds of Kleanbore Palma Lubricated 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." is NOT printed inside the dogbone logo. The product code "6222" is printed on the right half of the top panel. The front panel displays six lines of information. There is NO period before "22 PALMA KLEANBORE". The back panel displays ten lines of information divided into two paragraphs. Eleven lines of information divided into three paragraphs are printed on the bottom. The first two paragraphs are printed in capital letters and the third paragraph contains Trademak information and is aligned to the left. A factory rubber stamped set of numbers/letters is present on the bottom panel. The end flap warning reads "RANGE-ONE MILE / BE CAREFUL". A semi-circle thumb cut is present on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have scattered specks of light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until 1953.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-52 LR-13(a) variation. The difference observed is that the front panel does NOT display a period before "22 PALMA KLEANBORE". This box displays the "E" bottom, # 12 end flap warning in red ink, and right hand semi-circle thumb cut. The dogbone logo does NOT contain "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.".
